With over a decade of experience 3D scanning architectural sites across Japan, Peru, Italy, Chile, Greece, and the United States, our founder — Nikolaos Vlavianos, PhD in Design and Computation from MIT — created the most advanced 4.0 remote apartment leasing platform — forREAL.
At MIT, his research explored how people respond to their environments — and how immersive digital twins (virtual experiences) could revolutionize architecture and real estate. Toward the end of his PhD, Niko joined the MIT–Pillar AI Collective Fellowship for entrepreneurs, followed by the National Science Foundation’s Innovation Corps program.
Backed by respected angel investors, forREAL was built from the ground up by a team of full-stack engineers, robotics specialists, and business development experts —with support from innovation advisors in Washington D.C., Boston, and New York. Together, we launched three distinct solutions to simplify and modernize leasing.
